The old adage, “People don’t care what you know, until they know you care” is true and vital in any business, but especially small business. Many times this is what makes you better or separates you from your competition and especially the “big boys” or “box stores”. So how do you connect at this time during all the quarantining? Although not easy, it is important!

Vital is to let people know you are open for business and ready to serve. Even more important is to let them know how they can shop or use your services at this time. Also let them know about changes in hours, pickup/delivery options, restrictions or anything else they would need to know. here are some places you should post these changes:

  1. YOUR COMPANY WEBSITE 
  2. SOCIAL MEDIA (Post multiple times, as business pages do not show up for everyone, every time you post.)
  3. EMAIL BLASTS – If you use a email system such as GoDaddy Marketing, Elastic Email, Constant Contact, etc. great! If you are sending out in batches from your personal or business email, please be aware, tons of emails from one of these, will likely get your address banned without you even knowing you are.   4. VIDEO – Many systems to choose from including Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc. A great way to connect with groups or individuals who need your assistance.
